Le nom Solvo
Propane voit le jour en 1993, mais le projet est
véritablement né en 1996 avec une première démo K7 intitulée "Psychokiller"
(une face industrielle et l'autre techno hardcore). Entre temps, en
1994 le titre "Arkhanicq" (lignée Front 242) est
diffusé en soirées.
Les choses sérieuses commencent en 1998 quand j'organise des soirées
"techno hardcore" dans le sud ouest de la France , dont La
Mortal Techno (Pau-64), ou encore les mixes Indus, avec des
invités tels que : Punish Yourself, Positive
Mentale Attitude (PMA), Laurent Hô, Rislo (zero
zero/Triphase) et des DJ's locaux. A la même période, je fais la
connaissance de H.I.V+ et Lady Walkiria
et découvre les soirées Armageddon (Marseille).
C'est l'occasion de rencontrer de nombreux artistes : Stefan Alt
(Ant-Zen), Sulphuric Saliva, Ars Hermetica, DJ Mauri, Mlada Fronta,
Celluloid Mata, Omnicore, Bism, The Hacker... J'officie également aux
platines pour des mixes techno-indus où s'enchainent les Esplendor
Geometrico, Hypnoskull, Imminent Starvation, Winterkalte, Synapscape,
Isolrubin BK, Roger Rotor, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Skinny
Puppy, Numb, Ministry, Wumpscut, Cubanate, Laibach, Rammstein, Nine
Inch Nails... etc et c'est l'occasion de glisser quelques unes de mes
compositions, hélas perdues suite à la mort prématurée de mon Amiga
1200, qui emporte avec lui des années de travaux graphiques et sonores.
Le morceau "Ad'Ou-Eba (accélération 1)" enrgistré live
est tout ce qu'il reste de ce qui aurait dû être un album.
1er album "Saturations Passagères" fin 2001. H.I.V+
le soumet à Divine Comedy Records
(Marseille), mais le projet est trop techno pour le label. Un 2nd est
aussitôt en préparation, mais "Simple Progression" ne
verra pas le jour. Je donne d'autres priorités à ma vie.
Printemps 2005, l'album abandonné en 2002 devient "Space
Parasite" où la saturation n'est plus seulement passagère ! Et
je m'efforce de le faire connaître, tout en préparant la suite...

I came up with
the name Solvo Propane as early as 1993, but it was
not until 1996 – the year I released my first demo cassette entitled Psychokiller
(side 1- industrial, side 2- hardcore
techno) – that the project really saw the light of day.
In the meantime, in 1994, one of my records: Arkhanicq (influenced
by Front 242) was played during techno parties.
I got down to some serious work in 1998, when I organized hardcore
techno raves and industrial mixes in South-West France with special
guests such as – Punish Yourself , Positive
Mentale Attitude , Laurent Hô , Rislo
(zero/zero Triphase) as well as local DJs.
During the same period, I made acquaintance of H.I.V. +
and Lady Walkiria and discovered Armageddon
parties ( Marseilles ). It was an
opportunity to meet a lot of artists,
for example – Stefan Alt (Anti-Zen), Sulphuric Saliva, Ars Hermetica,
DJ Mauri, Mlada Fronta, Celluloid Mata, Omnicore, Bism, The Hacker.
I was on the point of releasing an album when the breakdown of my Amiga
12OO annihilated years of musical and graphic work, leaving only one
remnant – the track Ad'Ou-Eba (acceleration 1 ),
which had fortunately been recorded live some time before. Still, I had
the occasion to perform as a DJ - I mixed records of groups such as
Esplendor Geometrico, Hypnoskull, Imminent Starvation, Winterkalte,
Synapscape, Isolrubin BK, Roger Rotor, Front 242, Front Line Assembly,
Skinny Puppy, Numb, Ministry, Wumpscut, Cubanate, Laibach, Rammstein,
Nine Inch Nails... etc and played some of my own compositions.
I finally managed to launch my first album in the late months of 2001.
H.I.V. + submitted it to the attention of Divine Comedy Records, but
the label found it too techno. I soon started working on my second
album – Simple Progression, which, having other priorities, I never
completed.
In Spring 2005, the album I had put aside in 2002 became Space
Parasite, which I am now trying to launch.
